Are mentors compensated?
No, there is no compensation. It’s a voluntary commitment, based on the desire to support a job seeker by sharing your experience.
I don't have much time. Is that compatible?
Yes, the rhythm is light and flexible: on average 2 sessions of 1h30 per month, to be freely adapted according to your respective availabilities. It’s a flexible commitment that you build with your partner.
I don't feel legitimate enough to be a mentor
You don’t have to have experienced everything to be a mentor! What counts is the desire to listen, to share experience and to support a job seeker in her or his career path. All mentors receive training at the start of the program. You’ll also be supported and advised throughout the program by a mentor, who’ll be on hand if you have any doubts or difficulties.
